This visit will include clinical measures: weight, height, BMI, and blood pressure; dietary and health screeners; and an initial nutrition assessment. Here you will receive a packet of educational materials including booklets with recipes, meal tips, and nutrition science to help you succeed. The brief dietary and health screeners will be repeated at 1, 3, and 6 months.
Our 28-Day Jumpstart offers a simple, low-effort way to get started. For one month, you’ll receive daily emails packed with delicious recipes, helpful nutrition tips, and inspiring success stories to keep you motivated. This service is designed to be easy, with no need for extra work on your part—just sit back and let the daily guidance come to you.

Join the Plant Plunge: Commit to 3 Weeks of Whole-Food, Plant-Based Eating!
Take the plunge with us and try a whole-food, plant-based diet for 3 weeks. The Plant Plunge includes a series of 5 interactive nutrition classes and 2 peer group meetings over the course of 1 month to guide and support you along the way. Whether you're new to plant-based eating or looking for more guidance, this program provides the education and community to help you succeed.

Personalized Plant-Based Nutrition Support
Meet with a licensed nutritionist specializing in plant-based nutrition to get personalized guidance on adopting and maintaining a whole-food, plant-based diet. Our Nutrition Counseling service includes monthly meetings for 3 months, followed by quarterly sessions for the next 9 months. These meetings are available via telehealth or in-person at the Gil Heart Institute, allowing you to receive the support you need wherever is most convenient.
